New Orleans Voodoo Crossroads /La Sirena Botanica is overjoyed to present this exciting new line of mystical Voodoo Jewelry which has been entirely designed by Rev, Severina and Nicholas Usner of Covington LA.
Nick is an accomplished blacksmith who makes beautiful hand-wrought sculptures and wearable art using the most ancient old-world method of forging sacred to Ogun. He has agreed to create this beautiful line of spiritual tools of adornment for us!
Of his unique metal work, Nick says: "I would describe my metal work as being gracefully fluid, unlike the common conception of steel .All of my work is created using old world blacksmithing techniques and hand tools. I find that this keeps me more in touch with the elemental aspects of the metals which I choose to manipulate".

Each piece you choose will be ritually "washed" by Rev. Severina and will therefore not only carry the beauty inherent in its fluid shape, the strength and protection of Ogun but a spiritual blessing as well.
Because of the ancient tradition of hand-forging used by Nick, no two pieces will be exactly alike but each one is guaranteed to be inspired by the Spirit!
We can also bead the natural hemp cord with the corresponding sacred colors and semi-precious stone beads if you prefer, or you can buy the pendant of your choice as is and add the beads yourself as a meditation and prayer to the Spirit. The beads, crystals and gems are chosen for their color and association with a specific Loa or Orisha. Each set is unique, and a stunning addition to your wardrobe. We will design a set for you, as a stunning addition to your wardrobe and to bring the blessings and protection of the Loa or Orisha of your choice. Each set is consecrated on the corresponding altar before shipping.
