Lois Simbach who was a most interesting artist and designer in New Orleans a few years ago and a friend of mine first created these dolls. They were priced each at hundreds of dollars. Over the years they have become extremely popular as gifts or souvenirs. Their whimsical nature serves to remind us that there are good times and bad times and we need to keep a solid sense of humor through it all. As with all of my products, no two dolls are alike: each doll ordered is made specifically for you and with you only in mind. They bring the fancy and luck of Carnival all year long.
