I love this photo. Someone snapped it while I was auditioning on Jackson Square in front of the Cabildo. The drummer Pierre Curtis of Casa Samba which is a great Brazilian Drum and Dance troupe here in New Orleans.

The audition was for Louis de Falco who choreographed the dances for the movie Angel Heart. M. de Falco loved the snake dance but it ended up being cut out of the script. C'est la vie!
